Standard IFacilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity

Reflection
While taking IT courses at USM, I was able to participate in many projects. These projects were sometimes group projects, while other projects required completion by an individual student. Many of these artifacts reflect attributes of the various NETS-T standards. I have chosen three artifacts for Standard I. If you would like to view an individual artifact, simply click on the pictures above.
The first artifact that I have chosen is the ITD645 Group Presentation. This presentation required each student in the class to collaborate with other students using Google Slides to create a presentation for a chosen topic. This collaboration exposed students to new ways to share and collaborate on documents together with free tools.
The second artifact that I have chosen is my project on Apple Classroom. I was able to work with group members to demonstrate how teachers could use Apple Classroom to manage Macs and iPads in the classroom environment. We were able to work both virtually and in-person to complete this project.
The third and final artifact that I have chosen that demonstrates this standard is the group web survey form that I created with my peers in IT 755. The members of the group and myself collaborated to create a google form for evaluating websites.

Future Learning Goals
I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I gained from the IT degree to assist Developmental Executives and Account Executives at Apple Inc as they have discussions with Superintendents and Curriculum coordinators looking at integrating technology into their school districts. I plan to explore this NET-S standard more at ISTE with various sessions in 2020.
