Standard IV
Reflection
Standard IV focuses on the promotion and modeling of digital citizenship. This includes but is not limited to such topics as copyright, ethical use of digital information, and intellectual property. Additionally, this standard addresses the diverse needs of all learners. I have chosen three artifacts that demonstrate how I have modeled this standard. You can click on the items above to link directly to each artifact.
The first artifact I am submitting for this standard is a paper I wrote for ITD 720. This paper investigates the various learning styles and how this impacts the ADDIE model for Instructional System Design.
The second artifact that I am submitting is a Disc Golf Questionnaire. This questionnaire was conducted as a requirement for a class where I was placed in the role of an Instructional Designer creating a course for a community college. One of the first assets I created was a questionnaire to determine if there was an actual need for a course and what the skill level of the learners would be.
The final artifact that I am submitting for this standard is the analysis of the Needs Assessment along with an interpretation of the data. Also included in the report is a detailed accounting of the genesis of the project in addition to a description of the course that was born from the Needs Assessment.

Future Learning Goals
I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I gained from the IT degree to assist Developmental Executives and Account Executives at Apple Inc. as they have discussions with Superintendents and Curriculum coordinators looking at integrating technology into their school districts. I plan to explore this NET-S standard more at ISTE with various sessions in 2020.
