Reflection
Standard III deals with modern digital-age work and learning. The coursework within the Instructional Technology program exposes students to a vast number of tools that can be used for teaching and learning. I have chosen three artifacts that represent this standard. Simply click the picture of the artifact above to view it.
The first artifact that I have chosen is a podcast on Pythagoras. This podcast was chosen as supplemental material for a series of teacher-made materials that I created to teach a lesson on triangles. This podcast can be used in a "Flipped Classroom" environment to allow students access to materials outside of the classroom.
The second artifact that I have chosen is an application called Explain Everything. You can view a sample video on the Pythagorean theorem as well as a group project where I contributed the section on Explain Everything.
The third artifact for Standard III is a video that I created showing how a fisherman could use a tool like Google Earth to plan a fishing trip. This video was designed by students for use in an online class experience.
I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I gained from the IT degree to assist Developmental Executives and Account Executives at Apple Inc as they have discussions with Superintendents and Curriculum coordinators looking at integrating technology into their school districts.

Future Learning Goals
I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I gained from the IT degree to assist Developmental Executives and Account Executives at Apple Inc. as they have discussions with Superintendents and Curriculum coordinators looking at integrating technology into their school districts. I plan to explore this NET-S standard more at ISTE with various sessions in 2020.
